Working full time with auditing of owner-managed and listed companies (SEK 0.1-5 billion rev) and extra in an accounting role enjoying preparing financial statements, consolidated accounts and taxes for larger owner-managed companies. Supporting companies and private tax / taxation, accounting, budget / forecast and related areas.

Part of EY's Nordic division of data analysts in auditing. The work involved processing data to create insights about activities, from visualizing processes to answering more specific questions, e.g. look for deviations and report them. An example was to ensure that the company's received invoices correspond to its recordings in terms of item, number and price, this in a case where other follow-up methods would be costly in time due to large flows and no other way to verify not being over-billed. Another example was to identify transactions where the company has lacked or benefited from the right to deduct input VAT and missed, which creates trust for the company that the recordings had taken place in accordance with regulations and that it has not missed opportunities to get VAT back. A third common example was to analyze inventory and sales to provide answers about inventory movements versus sales with a focus on e.g. margins, volumes and obsolete items.

Worked as an assistant auditor performing audits of limited companies, foundations and associations. In parallel, had year-end assignments including book keeping (SEK 1-120 million rev), prepared company and private TAX declarations, annual accounts, consolidated accounts and annual reports (SEK 1-250 million).
