Provided support to students in 2nd year Physics Labs. Closely monitored progress of a dozen students, making sure they are coping with work. Conducted interviews to assess student performance on a given experiment, assigning grades. Provided helpful feedback to students, so they can improve their work ethic. Read and marked student formal reports, discussed results with students, and offered advice on improving the quality of their scientific writing.Also provided some one-on-one online out-of-hours support during 2020/21 academic year.

Internship sponsored through my PhD course. Discovered newly published pieces of scientific research in physics and wrote short Research Update articles on them. Wrote a few news stories on developments in the world of physics. Conducted phone and e-mail interviews with researchers to obtain a wider perspective on their published work.
