Followed a strict protocol to ensure election security on Election Day.

The Office of Federal Relations is the Governor's liaison between state priorities and the Federal Government. Duties involve tracking and reading legislation, attending meetings and providing notes, and ensuring Maryland's interests are vouched for at the Federal level. Working focusing on infrastructure legislation and discussions, with particular interest paid to the House and Senate Appropriations Committees. Working both virtually and in-person at the Washington, D.C. Office.

Accepted into the Governor's Summer Internship Program, one of the Maryland Public Service Scholars Programs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Shriver Center. This highly competitive program selects students from or studying in Maryland to participate in internships in the Maryland State Government. Selected scholars are required to attend seminars each Friday on topics ranging from public service to the inner workings of Maryland government. At the conclusion of the program, scholars present a policy proposal to the Governor. Currently working on a proposal to expand broadband infrastructure and access in Maryland.

Worked closely with the History Department Administrator and Department Chair to assist professors, promote the History Department, and aid with general organization. Duties involved scanning and delivering documents, making and distributing posters, as well as working on multiple departmental projects. Projects included making a thesis database in Google Studio and cataloguing primary historical documents, such as Alexander Stephen's personal letters. Worked as a part-time student throughout the academic year, and worked full-time in-between academic terms. Worked remotely part-time from March to July 2020.

Interned at the Maryland General Assembly under Delegate Ric Metzgar (R - District 6), member of the Appropriations Committee. Duties involved doing research, tracking and reading legislation, attending caucus meetings and meeting with and responding to constituents. Also in charge of writing and distributing the Delegate's weekly newsletter. Worked remotely for the last couple of days due to the impending pandemic.
