Progressively assigned greater responsibility for ensuring the safety and physical condition of a member-owned tennis and swim facility. Eventually promoted to management role of scheduling and assigning work of maintenance staff (a group ranging from 8-10 employees). Exercised diplomacy in dealing with club members and their guests while still ensuring the safety and comfort of same. For example, juggling a careful dynamic when asking members' children to observe and respect club protocol. Problem solved with unique or unexpected issues (e.g. sprinkler system clogged or vermin found in filtration system). Representative duties included organization and operation of two annual all-member social events. As a lifeguard, responsibilities include: preserving the safety of club patrons by enforcing safety standards. In this capacity I have CPR certification, AED certification, First Aid certification, knowledge of Emergency Action Plans and procedures.

Worked with local aldermanic offices primarily in the area of connecting constituents to appropriate agencies, staff members, city services, etc. Duties included: writing press releases for ward events, filing 311 requests, creating google maps of road improvements in the ward, analyzing voter information for elections, assisting in a participatory budgeting election (creating ballots, registering voters, explaining detailed initiatives), creating event presentations, translating documents, and acting as an interpreter for constituents.

Contributing DJ for independent radio station. Responsible weekly for a 2-hour programming block, possessing knowledge of FCC policies, developing on-air etiquette and public speaking skills. In my role as programmer, I identified artists and music consistent with the programming standards and identity of the station, book occasional guests, and serve as on-air talent.
