As key member of the BU Project Group team, I’m supporting the governance and performance control of the BU Projects portfolio of ~1000 projects in 7 countries located in Central and Northern Europe: Austria, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Finland, Baltic Countries (mainly Lithuania). Main regular activities:• Execute regular Business and Portfolio Analysis, including preparation of reports.• Review large-complex projects (~10M to ~80M €) status, and support on the project steering and directing activities.• Lead the design, preparation, and deployment of the “Development Projects” for the Business Unit.• Active participation on the definition of strategies and common targets for the Business Unit, including the follow-up of strategies to measure their status.• Active participation and planning of governance activities, e.g.: Steering Committees and Approvals for Tender of large projects.• Regular review of project execution processes, and application of the required updates, based on the systematic steering of the complex project execution.• Coordination of the group PMO (Project Management Office) monthly meetings.• Content preparation, about status and analysis of projects and/or the business, for the monthly Group Board meeting.

2018 – 2019 / PROJECT MANAGER, THYSSENKRUPP INDUSTRIAL SOLUTION (MEXICO):Project Management in the LAGDO 2 and CRUZADO 2 in the overall (German and Mexican Scope), this projects consist in the execution (EPC) of a new clinker production lines (3500 tpd) in two existing cement plants. I was recently named in the internal company title of “Project Director” due to overall function for the both contracts and company offices in Mexico and Beckum, were the project is being develop.The main activities of the position incudes: the supervision of the scheduling and controlling process, analysis of the progress figure and define action accordingly, continuous risk evaluation (via an IT Tool) and their management, review of the project financial figures (cash flow, profit, contingency), supervision of the procurement progress and participation in the negotiation closing for the major procurement packages and sub-contacts, consolidate the project reports (internal and for the client), lead the coordination and follow-up meetings, lead the communication and negotiation with client, supervision of the deviation management, analysis and negotiation of claims, supervision of the subcontractors administration.2016 – 2018 / PROJECT MANAGER, THYSSENKRUPP INDUSTRIAL SOLUTION (MEXICO): Project management in the PROGREFA complete Cement Plant (4500 tpd), for tkIS Mexico scope (217 Millions of USD) in EPC scheme with tkIS AG (Germany) leadership; including the subcontractors administration.2015 – 2016 / PROJECT MANAGER, THYSSENKRUPP INDUSTRIAL SOLUTION (MEXICO):Coordination of the feed engineering and cost estimation for the Hydroelectric Project Río Blanco. This project, consist in reviewing of the Basic Engineering (developed by HATCH) and from that continue until feed engineering stage and the preparation of a cost estimated in Open Book scheme.

Coordination of the engineering and construction for Hydroelectric Project La Cuchilla. The project consists of a massive concrete dam (Macho de Monte), 21 m. high and 100 m. long; The work includes a concrete desander of one ship and a bottom downloader for the reservoir; a conduction system open concrete channel with length of 1300 m., a loading chamber of reinforced concrete, a load line driving GRP pipe 2.6 m. in diameter and a powerhouse with an installed capacity of 11 MW in 2 Francis turbines with horizontal axis.

Coordino labores de Ingeniería y Construcción de un Proyecto Hidroeléctrico que consta de dos presas de 16mts y 12 mts de altura, un sistema de Conducción de Tubería de 5.9 km, una Chimenea de Equilibrio de 300m de derivación y una Casa de Máquinas con capacidad instalada de 20 Mw en dos turbinas Francis de eje horizontalEvalúo el Programa de Obra, planifico recursos, subcontrataciones, elaboro Informe mensual de Avance, valoración de la obra para el cobro a los clientes y pago a los subcontratistas, reviso planos, memorias de cálculo y procedimientos emitidos por el diseñador. Superviso y administro la Planta de Concreto y Cantera, así como el análisis del contrato y especificaciones técnicas.

Realizo actividades de: Revisión de planos y procedimientos para construcción, administración de contrato, seguimiento al programa de construcción, verificación del cumplimiento de las especificaciones técnicas, inspección de obras civiles y actividades de montaje de equipos electro-mecánicos, elaboración de informes de inspección y avance de construcción, revisión y cuantificación de los avances de obra para pago.

1-. Planificar, coordinar con los departamentos involucrados y ejecutar trabajos de mantenimiento.2-. Identificar, pre establecer, presentar y ejecutar trabajos de mejora al las instalaciones de la Central Hidroeléctrica Francisco de Miranda (CHFM). Estos estaban enfocados en obtener mejoras en: las áreas de seguridad industrial y de presa, los trabajos de mantenimiento y las actividades de operación.3-. Gerenciar y Manejar un equipo de trabajo de 25 personas, aproximadamente.4-. Gerenciar y Manejar subcontratos para mantenimientos y obras de mejora a la CHFM.
