MEET-CUTE The Label is an ethical lifestyle brand for men and women designed in New York City by husband and wife designer duo Isabelle and Alex Rosenwald. All clothing is made from “upcycled” existing fabrics. MEET-CUTE’s focus is to offer high designed fashion at an accessible price point. Styles are made and shipped directly to our customers using smart production processes, minimizing waste produced by prototypes and overproduction.

 Spearhead the creation of fashion products to uphold the Per Se lifestyle and oversee execution including aesthetic and quality, brand identity, and image for whole collection encompassing sportswear, event dressing, work wear, and accessories. Direct and mentor multilevel team through entire design process including trend research, color palette finalization, concept board creation, designing, sketching, styling, and fitting of complete collection.  Orchestrate and conduct seasonal presentations to sales executives, marketing, and e-com divisions.

 Supervised all aspects of entire design process including market research, inspiration board creation, designing, sketching, and fitting. Produced conceptual development of all fashion product for all accounts and divisions. Influenced process improvement, business growth, and new customer opportunities to positively impact the Company. Partnered with VP of Sales on merchandizing new collections each season. Traveled to Hong Kong and China to further improve and grow factory resources and relationships.

 Executed entire product design process with Creative Director including market research, fabric sourcing, mood board creation, designing, sketching, tech pack development, and fitting of all sportswear, tailored garments, jackets, bottoms, outerwear, leather and fur, and denim.  Headed Design team to create color, concept, and style direction seasonally by gathering and shopping for inspiration. Collaborated with Creative Director and Mr. Tahari daily on all aspects of Elie Tahari Collection and influenced other labels, ET Sport.  Instrumental in researching new possibilities in pre-development by working with factories and vendors. Conducted fittings for all sportswear, tailored and structured garments from initial design proto all the way through production.  Acquired and mentored a multilevel team of Assistant, Associate, and Technical Designers.

 Initiated design and development of, and tech pack creation for sportswear including tailored and structured garments, blazers, bottoms, dresses, and fitted clothing, along with outerwear. Supervised sample development within in-house atelier, NYC Garment District Contractors, and overseas factories. Frequently fit design development pieces with Creative Director, Yvan Mispelaere, and regular production fittings.
