CurrentAlexander Sarac is a project, energy and infrastructure partner with international law firm Addleshaw Goddard. Alexander is based in Riyadh. After 8 years in Dubai, Alexander moved to Riyadh in September 2023 as one of the founding partners of the Riyadh office of Addleshaw Goddard. To date Alexander worked on transactions in over 45 countries. Alexander advises governments, funds, sponsors and developers, financial institutions, and regional and international development banks on energy and infrastructure transactions in Africa and the Middle East. In addition to his focus on energy, infrastructure and finance he regularly assists his international client base in relation to investments and corporate transactions (including M&A) in Africa.Alexander is a German-educated and qualified lawyer (Rechtsanwalt), admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, with his Masters in Law in International and European Business Law (summa cum laude) and lived for several years in East Africa. Alexander is a member of the Advisory Board of the MENA Hydrogen Alliance and the Advisory Board of Dii Desert Energy. He served on the inaugural Advisory Council of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) from October 2016 until October 2020.
