Security Operations Center IT Security Team Lead conducts essential cyber security incident handling activities for Mouser Electronics. This role facilitates and leads the security monitoring and incident response activities, including conducting event and incident analysis, and coordinating incident containment and remediation actions as well as instrumental in cyber threat and vulnerability analysis and response.

Concentrated focus, tantamount professional threat hunter and skilled in identifying rogue information systems and behaviors indicative of compromised enterprise cloud, hybrid assets, behavior analysis. Ensure security log flow and investigating alerts, anomalies, errors, intrusions, malware, etc. to identify the responsible, determine remediation from various security devices and appliances to the SIEM system such as Rapid7, Palo Alto, SentinelOne, Open DNS, Proofpoint, Bomgar and RDP/Sandbox/Virus Total and experience with MITRE ATT&CK knowledge based adversary tactics and observations.  Investigate malicious phishing emails, domains and IPs using Open-Source tools and recommend proper blocking based on analysis. Review and analysis of firewall, email, web, or DNS logs to identify and mitigate intrusion attempts. Monitoring and analysis of security events to determine intrusion and malicious events. Perform comprehensive security assessments, respond to security incidents and investigations and targets reviews of suspect areas. Consult on teams to resolve issues that are uncovered by various internal and third-party monitoring tools. Identify and resolve root causes of security-related problems.
