My practice covers a broad range of international and national energy law matters, the banking & finance sector and real estate transactions. I advise my Austrian and international clients as well on all aspects of commercial law (contracts), dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration) and compliance. I have in-depth experience of the entire financial services and project finance area (including real estate finance, M&A transactions and restructuring projects) including regulatory issues relating to banking and investment law. I further specialize in energy and infrastructure projects, not least due to my in-house experience, in particular in M&A transactions as well as in electricity generation (both conventional and renewable energy sources) as well as electricity trading and sales. My expertise also extends to certificate trading and energy law regulatory issues with a focus on cross-border projects and transactions. I am regular lecturer at the University of Vienna, the FH Joanneum Graz and the BFI Vienna for several years now, teaching among other things, regulatory banking law, credit and collateral security law as well as compliance. I am also a certified corporate compliance officer.
