I am a 23 year old PGDA student at Milpark Education and a graduate with a Bcom Financial Accounting: CA Specialization degree from the University of Cape Town, with the drive and ambition to become a future qualified CA(SA).In my time at university I have been involved with societies, such as the UCT Choir, in which I currently hold the position of Chairperson of the Executive Committee. The experiences I have gone through during my time on the committee of the choir has enhanced my skills in leadership, event planning, budgeting, financial planning, problem solving and helped me apply and develop governance skills that I have learnt in my studies. This position, as well as my previous title of Treasurer of the choir, has also helped me apply and develop financial management and accounting skills that I have been taught throughout my studies.In high school, I was also involved in many different extra-mural activities including; Band, Choir, Photography club, and the Peer Counsellors group, in which I was nominated by staff and my fellow peers to lead as the Head Peer Counsellor. This position is where I started to acquire and develop my skills in leadership, communication, planning, problem solving and teamwork.
