As Head of Land Referencing, I use my experience and expertise to align, lead and grow the industry leading Land Referencing team at Gateley Hamer. Through a career spanning various sectors, including regeneration, transport, utilities, and infrastructure, I’ve successfully navigated clients through the complexities of Development Consent Orders, Compulsory Purchase Orders, and Transport and Works Acts, resulting in consented applications, and some very happy clients.I enjoy leading and developing dynamic teams, championing each individual’s professional and personal development to aid them in achieving their goals. I believe in a people first approach to leadership, by seeking to understand each person’s aspirations, needs and circumstances, I look to cultivate a culture of collaboration, wellbeing and ultimately, happiness and satisfaction for each of my team. Only through having a happy, healthy team, can we achieve long term success together. In my personal life I love a good bit of tech, and I bring this passion to my professional life through the adoption, development and utilisation of new innovations such as Ai, whether that’s generative Ai or language models, each have a place within the Land Referencing sector and I believe in their use. I also promote the use of often forgotten tech tools contained within MS365, which most businesses use already, and its apps to increase efficiencies within businesses. My commitment to innovation is evident through my leadership role in the development, designing, and eventual roll out of Gateley Hamers bespoke data management and GIS system Metis.
