I am currently a law student at TU School of law and will become a lawyer in the great State of Oklahoma.I’m interested in business/corporate law, contracts law, commercial litigation, property law, and estates.I love business law and the legal issues that arise in it, such as contracts & agreements, commercial dealings, negotiations, corporate governance & control, fiduciary duties of corporate officers, or even just business formation. Helping entrepreneurs, businesses, and our economy to thrive and be successful is a worthy mission. That way, they can provide for their families & loved ones and provide a good product that society would enjoy. Efficient commerce is a good goal. It’s necessary for our society to thrive! But being fair & honest when engaging in efficient commerce is just as necessary. We desire efficient commerce - but ALWAYS under the driving principles of good faith & fair dealing.Eventually, after decades in practice, I’m also going to consider a judgeship or city politics, because I genuinely love my hometown, Enid, OK, and I want to make her the best place imaginable. Enid’s given me a lot to be grateful for - I can’t help but give back.I attended the mighty Michigan State University for my undergrad. I love MSU, and it will always be my alma mater. At MSU, I worked as a legal intern in a general practice law firm, Okemos Legal Group PLLC. I also worked part-time at local businesses to work my way through my undergrad, as well.During Law School, I’m an intern for Mitchell DeClerck PLLC in Garfield County, where I learn business law, commercial law, property law, and civil litigation. There's a lot more to know about me! I love the Lord and I am a classically trained organist in my church. I enjoy sports and am very outgoing. Making friends is something I love to do. I love the outdoors and am an Eagle Scout. I love family and love Oklahoma. I want to make my state a better place, and I am going to.Take care, -Alex S.
