Shift Lead

520 N Michigan Ave Chicago, Il 60610

I supervised the day's finances by opening the registers and preforming end of the day accounting and auditing duties. Prepared the food with a focus on preparing an excellent end product. Analyzed the inventory and managed the quality of the product by problem solving to keep a fresh product or placed orders. Best of all I got to lead and supervise a diverse workforce, of about 6-8 at a time, to one common goal "to be the best place for lunch". The workforce consisted of individuals from various educational and employment backgrounds, ranging from teenagers with no employment history to seasoned professionals. The staff was also demographically diverse with respect to race, gender, and age. In order to accomplish that we created quantifiable SMART goals to hold ourselves and others accountable. I preformed numerous constructive conversations to coach associates into preforming to our standards. Achievements: Promotion to Certified Trainer, Shift LeadHonors: Employee of the Month (on several occasions)
