I've been in the automotive manufacturing industry for the past seven years. I started assisting on a tube forming line and quickly found myself in a tool and die maker apprenticeship. Most of my training was focused on building assembly tools and creating prototype fixtures. I'm very comfortable with manual machining, reading prints, making dimensional moves and trouble shooting tooling. I've also developed metrology skills. I completed Polyworks training and I frequently operate a Faro arm. Recently I started learning about the stamping side of tool and die. Opening, disassembling, repairing and reassembling are well within my wheelhouse. In my free time I race road motorcycles. This helps drive my career, the skills I've acquired help me build bikes that easily pass tech and the cost of racing drives my motivation to be a better employee. I'm always willing to learn a new thing knowing at some point that's going to benefit my hobby.
