My role as Head of the Network Deployment Team included:• Developing the network infrastructure strategy including data centers' space and power and transport services. • Managing capacity planning and evolution of data center and backbone network.• Developing long-term strategic relationships with data centers and transit network providers for efficient and scalable delivery of CDN content to users.• Identifying, negotiating and closing contracts covering colocation and transport services.• Providing technical guidance and leadership to mid-level network engineers.• Designing a high-load network (creating a complete configuration for network equipment. Great experience with BGP).• Finding and developing new Points of Presence from scratch considering the company's interests.• Helping with problem identification and remediation support.• Providing support to identify and fix the L2/L3-route and circuit problems.• Coordinating and providing support with the configuration of network switches and routers (Juniper,Cisco, Huawei). Great experience working with the BGP protocol.• Deploying network automation using Python scripts. • Managing the company's assets, creating inventories with a list of equipment and providers escalationcontacts, spare parts, and tools for each edge.Also, my role included:• Supporting the company's cost-saving goals with increasing efficiency.• Working experience in legal reviews: MSA, NDA, SLA, RFP, RFQ and carriers' KPIs.• Creating and managing vendor relationships, catalogue vendor product offerings and maintaining current contact/escalation information.• Handling carrier escalations related to service delivery, operations, and billing disputes.• Working with technical and commercial teams to ensure a proper understanding of requirements andtechnical feasibility of solutions.• Developing new and enriching existing carrier relationships as required.• Travel as required to meet vendors and partners across the globe

RETN is the large International Network Service Provider in Europe, Russia and CIS.While working in this position I got good experience with physical network infrastructure in main data centers of Russia, Europe and CIS. Also, I improved my skills in IP-transit technologies.My role as Project Manager included:• Installation of new and maintaining existing metro edges.• Field hands-on installation in data centres.• Configuration and maintenance of network equipment.• Working with Network and Optical transport equipment (Juniper, Cisco, Infinera). Configuring L2/L3 VPNs, IP/BGP and maintaining optical transport (DWDM/CWDM wavelengths).

As a network engineer my responsibilities included:- Network troubleshooting (Layer-2, 3 VPNs, BGP). Juniper (MX, EX), Cisco.- Optical transport maintenances (DWDM, CWDM).- Communication with customers as a single point of contact.
