Alexander Still is an associate in the firm’s trusts and estates practice. Mr. Still’s practice focuses on the areas of estate and gift planning and related services for individuals and families. Mr. Still has experience in drafting complex wills and trust agreements, estate and trust administration, estate settlement agreements and probate proceedings.

• Handles electronic filings of court documents for attorneys in NY and DC offices, ensures documents conform to relevant Court rules and procedures (Federal and NY State Courts), responsible for paper filings of court documents.•Maintains firm-wide litigation calendar for attorneys in NY office, conducts daily search of NY Law Journal for attorney appearances.• Conducts legal research and online case monitoring, oversees internal docketing and record keeping systems for the Managing Attorney’s Office.• Works closely with Managing Attorney and Managing Clerk in coordinating with attorney teams to complete filings and litigation projects.• Assists attorneys with high profile patent, intellectual property, insurance, contract, and criminal defense cases. • Worked on, and filed, various pro-bono matters relating to civil rights, dissolution of not-for-profit entities, adoption petitions, and asylum cases.• Accompany attorney teams to Courthouse, assists with materials and set-up for trial and argument.

• Assisted staff attorneys with investigations, conducted basic legal research for two summers.• Examined bank records of attorney escrow accounts, entered data and prepared accounting records with QuickBooks for staff attorneys and accounting.• Observed Q & A sessions and disciplinary hearings conducted by staff attorneys, attended committee meetings.
