Hi team,I am a well qualified chef and I am attaching my resume for your further consideration.For the past twenty-five years I developed a wide range of cooking and kitchen skills in the hospitality industry.For the past fourteen years, I have worked with various famous area restaurants: The French Café, O'Connell Street Bistro and recently at SkyCity Orbit 360 dining. In these restaurants I was the Head/Sous chef and was responsible for temporary and ongoing restaurant and kitchen needs. This mainly included implementing and creating daily menus, restocking and ordering new supplies, managing the entire kitchen staff and ensuring that the best quality of food was served, as well as maintaining a hygienic environment. I am very good in delegating tasks, creating excellent culinary standards and working with all the staff members in mentoring role teaching and creating new menus and ensuring all new creations been tested and researched.I demonstrated my food knowledge in front of smaller audiences for wine & beer matching dinners or teaching a group of chef’s new dishes and techniques.I developed project management skills within two restaurant startups at, Pilkingtons 41. Shortland street just to mention one, from hiring staff, Menu development, kitchen layout and equipment purchasing.Recently being able to switch to Microsoft Dynamics for supply chain was a good new skill to learn and is still ongoing.
