Working as a creative consultancy with brands, resulting in ‘proof of concept’ sketch models and toolkits, created and illustrated through designed objects and systems. Seeking out new industrial partners and opportunity to challenge existing methods of manufacture, in order to anticipate best models of industry in the future.Key achievementsadidas / Olympic Games 2012 - proposed and worked with adidas to create PrimeKnit which became the most sustainable and innovative product ever produced by the brand. Innovation and design consultant for adidas, introducing new technology and collaborations, bridging performance, style and innovation. Ambassador for Parley for the Oceans.With adidas, designed and created the first adidas X Parley shoes, presented at the United Nations, New York in 2015. The shoes were acquired by the V&A, London for their permanent collection in October 2018. Key projects within adidas’ Futurecraft series, including Machined Leather and TFP, outlining the brand's future intent and Creative Direction for innovation and technology.Developed new and challenging products for Hunter Wellington Boots 2014 - 2016.Collaborated with Joachim de Callatay on Stella McCartney's men’s footwear 2015-2016.Furniture and lighting for some of Europe's leading design manufacturers, including Zanotta and ClassiCon. Collection of works for David Gill Gallery, London, and private commissions, most notably for Alexander McQueen. Fold Light acquired by MoMA and the Chicago Institute of Design for their permanent collections.Design Miami Basel 2006 : Designer of the Future award.Visiting professor : MA Industrial Design, ECAL (2008 - 2016), Royal College of Art (2013 - 2015).
