This role is responsible for management of the overall aviation business of the company countrywide (both operations and marketing), strategic planning, Implementation and close monitoring of procedures to achieve high standard Quality Control & HSSE culture and business control, achieve high level operational excellence (OTP), marketing (tender preparation, focus on customer base and market share growth, customer satisfaction), inventory management of aviation fuel (receiving, storage, loading, delivery/sales), follow up of the fuel supply chain from ordering till receipt in liaison with logistics unit, follow up of fleet with logistics unit, comply with timely collection of aviation proceeds, planning and implementation of trainings, technical inspection follow up, analysis of international Jet A-1 price trend for management reporting, engagement with TSA, implementation of new aviation technologies, cost saving initiatives, Bottom line focus, etc.

Responsible for the company’s overall aviation operations in all aviation depots (Bole, Gambella, Assosa, and Hawassa), Ensuring that operational procedures, quality control, maintenance procedures and HSSE procedures are strictly followed at all times, providing technical support to staff, conduct operational, quality control and HSSE trainings, Ensuring proper and effective resource allocation, Ensure the operations are up to the international standards (JIG), follow up of projects, Maintain operational loss/gain within tolerable limit, etc.

Managing the operations at the main hub (Bole International Airport) from product receipt to aircraft fuelling, with the aim of providing safe, efficient and timely service to customers. On the job evaluation (task observation of staff), Ensuring that all operational procedures are followed & HSSE policies and procedures are met to achieve the target of zero incidents, Implementation of quality control standards, stock management, follow-up execution of maintenance & testing of fuelling equipment according to JIG procedures, documentation, etc.

Responsible for the management of all facilities of the company including retail stations and commercial sites throughout the country (maintenance and renovation of fuel dispensers, buildings, electrical installations, HVAC, compressors, hoists, washing and greasing equipment, generators, water pumps, water supply system, etc.), managing contractors and in house maintenance crew in cost and time efficient way, preparation and administration of maintenance contracts, stock and order management of spare parts, maintain inventory of all equipment and facility, etc.

Responsible for the parts operations of the company, inventory management, parts ordering, control of the receiving, storage and issuing/sales processes, supply chain follow up from parts ordering till receiving, warranty claim processing, discrepancy investigation, establishing profit targets and action plans, making periodic result reviews and demand forecasts, establishing collaborations and cooperative relations with other departments, maintaining a good & safe work environment, involving in the recruitment of necessary employees for the department, implementation of training to personnel, establishing and implementation of activities to increase fulfillment rate for customer satisfaction and profitability of parts business, budgeting, business plan preparation, maintaining and improving the overall parts operations, systems, etc.

Responsible for the Engineering help desk and respond appropriately to all incoming maintenance requests (leading sub units of Electrical, masonry, plumbing, carpentry and painting) and emergencies, ensure constant feedback to customers, establish, maintain and manage the help desk system to produce weekly/monthly PM schedules, reporting, costing, invoicing, financial administration, conducting sub-contractor performance measurement and documentation, etc.

Inventory Management, supervision of receiving and issuing process, assisting the national parts manager, marketing activities, communicating and handling matters with customers and suppliers, technical support to staff and customers, staff development activities, budget planning, reporting, lead time analysis, supply chain follow up with logistics unit, data updating, involvement in parts warehouse management, maintaining the company's data base and the electronic parts catalog, participating in Kaizen activities, tender follow up, warranty claims, disposal, field visits to customers to inspect their machinery and generate sales & forecasts, etc.
