I am currently studying for my master's in clinical mental health counseling at Mercer University. While working towards my license to practice therapy, I see a caseload of approximately 15 clients a week at an outpatient psychiatric clinic. I also work as an instructor for The Princeton Review, where I teach a full-length course designed to help pre-med students increase their scores on the psychology/sociology section of the MCAT exam. I also offer private tutoring through Wyzant. I received my Bachelor of Science in psychology from Florida State University in 2019. During my undergraduate years, I gained valuable experience designing experiments in the subfield of moral psychology, which culminated in an undergraduate thesis my senior year.After graduating with my undergraduate degree, I worked as a medical scribe/technician, a role in which I gained over 2,000 hours of experience scribing for surgeons, taking detailed patient histories, prepping patients for surgery, and operating an array of medical technologies used to assess ocular health. In my spare time I enjoy creative writing. In college, I contributed to a student-led publication called the Burning Tree Magazine, which featured a variety of creative styles. Since graduating, pieces of my writing have been published on online blogs and, more recently, in the print issue of a literary journal.
