Influenced by his musical family, Alexander Track started playing piano and drums at a very young age. His father, world-renowned orchestra and choir director Gerhard Track conducted the Vienna Boys Choir from 1953-1958. His mother Micaela Maihart Track was a concert pianist winning the prestigious Beethoven Piano Competition. Alexander went on to performing in many orchestras including the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, bands, ensembles and choirs growing up winning many awards along the way. He studied with Edward Small (Denver Symphony Orchestra) among others and graduated with a Masters in Music Degree from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria having studied with Richard Hochrainer (Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra). At the time, the first American to graduate with honors in 13 years of the history of the school. Since moving to Los Angeles, Alexander has been very successful in the music industry performing, scoring pictures, producing, arranging, recording, mixing and mastering records. The CEO of Track Entertainment Studios since 1995, Alexander was awarded the prestigious Grammy Award in 2006 for engineering. Most recently the drummer and backing vocalist for ROCK SUGAR, he co-produced, recorded and co-mixed the album REIMAGINATOR for the band. Featured in television on Fox & Friends and The Private Chefs of Beverly Hills, shows for the Toby Keith Foundation and Larry The Cable Guy’s Git-R-Done Foundation, they've shared stages with ACDC, Aerosmith, Def Leppard and Scorpions to name a few. Along with touring for 3 years, they've had residencies at the House of Blues, Sunset Blvd., L.A. and in Las Vegas. Alexander Track currently resides in Studio City, California. Along with performing and touring he continues to produce, record, compose, arrange, mix and master out of his recording studio, Track Entertainment Studios in Sherman Oaks, California.
