Recent MSc Geography graduate at uOttawa. Passionate about the environment and sustainability, particularly in regards to conservation, environmental management and urban planning. I am interested in professional and research opportunities.I am passionate about GIS, and have experience working with many types of data and conducting different analyses using tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and Experience Builder. I am proficient in professional, technical and academic styles of writing. I have worked with the federal government (Public Safety Canada) across two contracts, interned with uOttawa's Government, Statistical and Geographic Information Centre, and completed a placement with the National Capital Commission. In addition, I have experience performing field work and participated in uOttawa's 2022 glaciology field course on the Kaskawulsh Glacier in the Yukon Territory and most recently volunteered as a field assistant for wildlife study in Quebec's Laurentides region.Outside of school, I have experience working in the transportation sector as a professional driver as well as in various retail roles. I have worked at companies such as FedEx Ground, Loblaws, Homesense and Kardish Health Foods.I also have a history of extracurricular and volunteer involvement. I am a long time executive member of the Broken Quill Writing Society, an official student organization at uOttawa dedicated to creative writing, and served as the 2021-2022 President. I have volunteer experience working with Canadian Blood Services as well as the Ottawa Humane Society's foster program.
