At my second term at Marathon, I was able to continue my corporate professional growth by expanding my knowledge of the .NET Core and its best practices. For my first term at MPC, I was able to own my position as an IT Co-op Developer and established a strong foundation in working with the ASP.NET Model-View-Controller framework. Here, I was able to work professionally and efficiently with the IT Marketing Team to understand and develop over 5 business-driven web application pages that streamlined marketing data reports to affected parties.

As a data intern at a local nonprofit organization, I was able to strengthen my knowledge of data structures, SQL, Microsoft Excel, and business analytics skills to advance ASIA, Inc.’s nonprofit’s goal of helping Akron’s growing immigrant population. Without prior formal education of relational databases, I was able to construct a core knowledge through determination, self-study, and research. Overall, I was able to visualize my work and the data I was working with by creating info-graphics and documentation. This ultimately illuminated areas and pain-points with the intention to improve the interpreting services that ASIA, Inc. provided. In total, I was able to analyze and bring value to over 2,299 hours of translation and interpreting services.
