Senior Application DeveloperSto Corp. Oct 2006 - Sep 2010Atlanta, Ga, UsI designed and implemented a new customer portal which allowed Sto’s customers to complete all day-to-day operations from submit sales orders to viewing reports. The presentation layer was designed from the beginning to support AJAX and multiple languages. The business objects utilized Microsoft Enterprise Library for data caching, exception handling, logging and validation. The data access layer was given special consideration because the primary ERP back-end was going to be changed from AS/400 to SAP. Access to the web site was controlled by Active Directory & SQL Membership provider. Before our SAP start-up, I contributed to the design and implementation of an ABAP web service used to allow the customer portal read and write access to SAP. I also designed and implemented a C# web service so SAP could have read and write access to the formulation database.I am currently working on a project that involves a complete rewrite of a custom tinting web site from .NET 1.1 to .NET 3.5. The rewrite involves redesigning the database structure to better integrate with SAP and adds support for newly required features. A new and more robust business object supports data caching, exception handling, logging and validation using Microsoft Enterprise Library. WCF has been implemented to allow Silverlight controls access to data. The presentation layer implements AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, Silverlight and custom server-side controls. -
Senior DeveloperTech Center Sep 2004 - Oct 2006One of Tech Center’s clients had a need to have disjoined systems communicate. The solution involved implementing a stateless web services. With this solution implemented, workstations on the plant floor can now subscribe to 8502 build data, transmission solenoid characterization data, and component data. These web services have two methodologies for pulling data either by ad-hoc queries or in a subscription manner. In another project for this client, I designed a method of passing data between a plant and suppliers using Sockets instead of a Web Service for communication. I am currently working on a project that involves a very large team (100+) to distribute time critical information to plant floor systems. This solution has finished development and is in the process of being released.

Senior DeveloperClient Profiles Sep 2001 - Sep 2004Atlanta, Ga, UsDue to the ever changing front-end of the Microsoft Office Suite, and the continued lock down of the Office Suite I have design our integration to reside as much as possible on the Exchange Server and not the client. The benefits of doing this are now our application is more extendible and easier to maintain. The use of custom organizational forms allows us to display relevant case related information on the client without having any forms loaded on there machine. The first generation of the integration was built in Microsoft Visual Basic utilizing MTS. The integration was designed around the Exchange Servers eventsink processing asynchronously.Over the last year I have developed and deployed our second generation Exchange Integration. This latest generation operates on both Exchange 2000 and 2003, and it’s compliant with Office 2000, XP, and 2003. The back-end server components have been rewrite in Microsoft C# as a Windows Service and utilize Microsoft Message Queuing Services. -
