As an ORISE Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), I leverage my Master of Public Health degree in Infectious Disease Epidemiology to contribute significantly to the surveillance, analysis, and prevention of various infectious diseases. With a robust skill set encompassing Epidemiology, R programming, Data Analytics, Mathematical Modeling, and Data Visualization, I play a pivotal role in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets.My journey in public health began at Emory University - Rollins School of Public Health, where I honed my expertise in epidemiological methods, statistical analysis, and data management. Building upon this foundation, I have seamlessly integrated advanced computational techniques, particularly in R programming, to streamline data workflows and enhance analytical capabilities.Prior to my role at CDC, I immersed myself in the world of scientific research as a student researcher at SUNY Geneseo. There, I gained invaluable experience in conducting biological experiments, analyzing results, and disseminating findings through scientific papers and presentations.
