About Alexander Šach

During my Bachelor´s study I have mainly been focused on Alzheimer´s Disease, but shifted my interestwithin my Master´s study towards cancer and cancer stem cells. This interest lead me first to the University of Rochester, where I tried to functionally define and distinguish cancer stem cells from cancer bulk cells. In 2014 I moved to Zurich, Switzerland, working with Roche on different cancer entities, and finding attractive models to test possible drug candidates. Recently, I switched into a managing role outside of the Lab, working as Medical Affairs Manager for Medinova AG.
