I graduated from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) with Bachelor of Science with Honours (Resource Biotechnology) in 2019. My interests include management, operation management, clinical research studies and research and development. My final year project was about virucidal efficacy of ethanol-based and isopropanol-based disinfectants against Enterovirus A71 (EVA71) under the supervision of Dr Magdline Sia Henry Sum at Institute of Health and Community Medicine, UNIMAS. Upon graduation, I worked with Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation as a part of a research team on bamboo growth and yield for 6 months. Apart from that, during my internship with Borneo Kinetics Sdn Bhd, I worked closely with clinical research professionals and physicians in bioequivalence studies. My responsibilities have included the recruitment of healthy volunteers for research of investigational medicinal products and documenting case reports according to Good Documentation Practice. I am analytical & evaluative to provide solutions, and use these attributes during my internships at Borneo Kinetics and STIDC. My effective communication skills lead to my hosting duty UNIMAS Says. I pride myself of becoming the best delegate at the 2nd Model of United Nations 2017 held by UNIMAS Debating Society, which proves my ability to make sound decisions based on valid information. Some highlights of my key skills include possessing an aptitude for identifying and resolving problems efficiently and consistently meet deadlines and produce detailed, complete work at a high standard. I am certain that I can be an asset in any position requiring enthusiasm, attentiveness and reliability.
