CurrentAs Records Manager, responsible for creation, implementation, & management of a corporate records program containing 75K+ records, encompassing all stages of the records life cycle; design & implementation of a document imaging system; interfacing with legal, managerial, clerical, accounting, & medical departments to coordinate a uniform filing & document management system. Duties include: supervision/participation in records inventories; development of retention schedules & policies/procedures; creation & management of a customized database; design & maintenance of a de-centralized file system; form creation & user manual publishing; supervision of records transfer project (1700+ boxes transferred to a new offsite storage vendor); hiring/training/supervising staff, interns, & consultants. As Property Tax Manager, responsible for collecting local/national/international tax bills for 250+ properties; researching payment dates & accepted methods of payment; serving as a liaison between account managers & taxing authorities; gathering payments/verifying timely receipts; monitoring properties for Homeowner Tax Exemption status, reassessments, supplemental/adjusted tax bills, & payments through refinances, impound accounts, or other means; creating a database to capture aforementioned data.As Project Manager, responsible for customizing solutions tailored to the objective, time constraints, & resources available. Examples include: redesigning the document imaging category structure & mapping the pathways for data migration; preparing/training/supervising tasks assigned to department staff, temporary help & interns; designing a workspace & centralized file area, packing/preparing for an office move of 80K+ paper files while simultaneously conducting a records disposition of 7K files; researching & documenting financial transactions & correspondence related to audits, litigation discovery, & contract terms.
