Youth-targeted site founded by Vice Media’s creative arm Virtue covering sustainability, social justice and the environment with major backers including Unilever, M&S and Facebook, among others. Thirsty Work Productions (TWP) is a creative agency-publisher based in Shanghai offering brand strategy, custom publishing and event management solutions to major international drinks brands. Headhunted to oversee significant restructuring of its bi-lingual, on-trade bar-culture title 饮迷 Drink. Ink is a London-headquartered travel media specialist offering content solutions to several major airlines. Joined its only newsstand title (now published by Mongoose) as staff writer but soon promoted to associate editor. Responsibilities: • See Time Out Shanghai, above. • Co-directed integration of print-digital output, initiated first social strategy, produced two of the most popular cover stories in title’s history.

Assisted on first, full launch of website as a working advocate for digital content at a time of significant change management (strategic shift to digital). Responsibilities: • Managed migration of content from print to digital: repurposed editorial to produce high-performance, SEO-adherent features via several content management systems.• Curated section homepages; produced weekly newsletter, used performance data to leverage reader-engagement levels and subscription base.
