I was a combat-tested paratroop officer, and turned into an entrepreneur in various businesses. A 2018 study showed that only 0.4 % of all startups scale, reaching more than 10 Mio. Average Recurring Revenue (ARR) within 5 years. With WorkForce and Blue Planet we exactly did that, twice βοΈAnd much more is about to come β¦π* * * * * * * *After a succesful military career as a professional officer in the Parachutist-Commando Brigade, including a war operation in Africa, I became a serial entrepreneur and manager.In 1996 I started in the field of sustainable construction.After selling this business in 2006, I invested in an early-stage hydrogen company and founded a biogas company in Canada. Since 2008 I founded and managed 5 different companies in the renewable energy industry. During 9 years I participated successfully in the Energy Transition in Europe.In 2019 I founded WorkForce to help solve the labor shortages for skilled technicians in Europe. I led the company to explosive growth, scaling the team from 2 to 200 technicians and increasing revenue from 0 to +10M β¬ within a remarkable 5-year period. I excel at building teams, operational excellence, process improvement, KPI-definition and C-level communication.Since the beginning of my business career, I spent 25 years in construction, energy, HR and technical related industries.Nowadays I use this experience to start, fund, support and scale early stage companies in different industries, with our own Venture Studio.* * * * * * * *I have extended experience in leading and motivating heterogeneous groups, using strong communication and organisational skills to enhance results, whilest keeping up team spirit.I have a proven track record in decision making, innovation, organising resources and people in order to reach ambitious targets with a motivated team, mastering challenging situations in an international environment.Vision, creativity, flexibility, problem-solving, goal orientation, and strong determination to reach the goals define my personality and my acts.
