Blue Planet Energy developed, build, owned and operated solar and wind projects, in Belgium, Italy, Bulgaria, Roumenia and the Baltic countries.Project development, equity and debt finance, and exploitation of the power plants.Projects were sold in 2014.

Solar Construction build complete photovoltaic systems for general turnkey EPC-contractors.Solar Construction solely worked as a construction subcontractor. In the last 4 years we build 110 MWp, with a workforce of upto 140 people.This equals a value for our customers of approx. 250 Mio.€ of projects.After 3 years we were the installation market leader in Belgium.

After the acquisition and integration of another company, Blue Planet Technics build sustainable HVAC-installations (Heating, Ventilation, Airco, Cooling) in buildings for B2B customers, with about 30 experienced HVAC-technicians.We doubled the size of the company in 4 months time.We sold the company in 2013.

Founded together with 2 Canadian partners.Development of Biogas Plants for third party customers, based out of Ottawa, Canada.Biogas Project Development for industrial agricultural farms and the food industry, throughout the Province of Ontario.We were the first Belgian biogas company moving to Canada, 3 months after the local government installed the Feed-In-Tariff.

Development and sales of technology for Hydrogen and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in the automotive industry. We were one of the very few companies worldwide, adapting successfully Internal Combustion Engines for 100% Hydrogen. While almost the complete Hydrogen industry focussed on the less reliable and way more expensive Fuel Cells. In 2008 HydroThane modernised all 3 Belgian CNG filling stations of Electrabel-GDF Suez (now Engie).

Sustainable & low energy construction, specialty & restauration techniques, renewable materials.Many unique projects, using expert techniques, deploying a workforce of approx. 25 craftsman.We were the first in Belgium to pump & spray clay mortars with a Putzmeister worm pump. Now many companies do this.Development of several real estate projects at own risk for small semi-industrial warehouses.I sold the company in 2006.
