Retrieved and analyzed data for in vitro fertilization (IVF) success rates based on implantation rates and the number of embryos transferred for 400 IVF Clinics throughout the United States. Analyzed clinic data and formulated a method for properly judging clinics against one another to determine leaders based on both success rates and safety. Developed website (www.ivfreports.org) to provide consumers with accurate, informative information about IVF clinics throughout the country while providing clinics unbiased feedback on their performance.

Developed, marketed, and licensed custom built bioinformatics software for analysis of DNA Microarray data. These custom software solutions helped identify genetic mutations for research or clinical applications.

Volunteered at the clinic to translate for patients who only spoke Spanish. These were mostly South American immigrants who do not have any form of health insurance. Exposed to a variety of patients and conditions. Sometimes translated for pediatrics, while other times helped out in the urology clinic. Helped patients to communicate their symptoms to the doctors while often translating the doctors' response, blood tests, and various documents so that patients understood the situation.

Learned hands on about the Mexican Universal Healthcare System by working with or observing doctors involved with all levels of care from primary care to hospital surgeries. Assisted primary care physicians by interviewing patients, taking their blood pressures and weights, and keeping records of the prescriptions written for these patients. Volunteered at a local orphanage by donating clothing and spending time talking with children aged 5-10. Delivered medical supplies brought from the United States to needy local hospitals and clinics.
