A project on process optimization and supply chain management of GE Healthcare's operations in Denmark. The research focused on the potential impact and benefits Industry 4.0 could cause in the supply chain for GE Healthcare. The research was conducted as an explorative case study that investigates how the transportation and implementation of high-technological and complex healthcare technology in Danish hospitals can be mapped and optimized. The research and results were presented at the international conference INFORMS Annual Meeting 2019 in Seattle, USA.

Optimization of healthcare operations at Aarhus University Hospital focusing on the use of wireless monitoring technologies (i.e., DASH7) within a hospital environment. The research focuses on the clinical perspective on how wireless monitoring of health data in the hospital can be utilized to support the mobility of the patients and the cost-efficiency of the clinical pathway during hospitalization. Furthermore, the required strategic considerations for developing and implementing the system were assessed.The research and results were published as a scientific paper at FABULOUS 2019 - Sofia, Bulgaria, 4th EAI International Conference on Future Access Enablers of Ubiquitous and Intelligent Infrastructures.
