Today I work as a technical leader through the packaging design, development and implementation for biopharmaceutical products including medical devices and combination products. The work is done within all pillars of Packaging Technology including design freeze, technology transfer, packaging qualification and lifecycle change management. Accountable for projects to design, develop, and implement secondary packaging systems for a variety of biopharmaceutical product types including vial and combination products. This responsibility is one of technical ownership, authoring and maintaining packaging specifications and ensuring design inputs, once qualified, meet design outputs. Responsibilities:• Lead technical efforts across sites and functions to ensure design suitability• Lead continuous improvement and change control efforts to ensure timely resolution of complex issues with respect to technical packaging performance, sustainability, and compliance requirements, without disrupting commercial supply or new market launches• Cross-train as SME on all functions of secondary packaging and combination product design control requirements and serve as local Packaging Technology. SME for secondary packaging specification and design performance including lifecycle management• Represents GTOs Packaging as the primary technical contact onsite on technical matters often requiring coordination between Manufacturing and Technical Operations• Bridge between Global Technical Operations and the Swedish Biologics manufacturing site

Responsible for developing H&M and Portfolio Brands (globally) with packaging expertise within material, print and packaging construction to achieve an enhanced customer experience. Focus on developing cost-efficient, qualitative products aligned with H&M Group packaging goals. I ensured that products and materials are innovative, sustainable, cost conscious and, importantly, optimized for transport. Key responsibilities: • Capture and identify all needs/opportunities for future requirements and secured a time plan together with stakeholders and suppliers• Manage artwork; collects templates, check AW and symbols and distribute to supplier• Handling sampling and gathering a first cost estimate and evaluate prototypes according to brief and supporting buyers with facts (pros and cons) to secure best suitable option on product level• Securing proper handovers by setting clear product specifications to NCG buyers• Attending at the start of printing at the supplier's location to ensure that we achieved the best possible quality• Bouncing partner and guide to colleagues with printing technical and material selection questions• Created a material and product library and symbol and guideline to increase service to brands at concept phaseKey achievements:• Successfully developed a wide variety of products ranging from gift card carriers to carrier bags and boxes for most of our BU’s and brands, e.g., Beauty, & Other Stories, Arket, Home and Arket Café• Taken over one full range project for Beauty where there was hardly any time left and turned the entire project around with a very good result and most importantly according to schedule and cost• Big focus on reducing plastic packaging, eliminate problematic and unnecessary packaging. Worked towards 100% reusable or recyclable and sustainably sourced packaging. Increased recyclable possibilities for all products.
