As a Computer Hardware Engineer and IT Administrator, I'm on a mission to harness technology for a brighter future. With a background in electronic and computer hardware engineering, I've honed my skills in open source technology and served as an IT administrator in the education sector. This diverse experience has given me a unique perspective on driving innovation through effective communication and creative ideas. My journey has led me to several companies, such as Meshplane, where I founded a groundbreaking open network hardware company. We're dedicated to connecting people and companies to the world through cost-effective, highly flexible infrastructure. Our vision is to usher in a new era of open hardware that's universally compatible and free from the constraints of proprietary software contracts. In addition to my role at Meshplane, I'm also the Chief Information Officer at Cactive, where I oversee the strategic management and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions, fostering innovation and maintaining a forward-thinking approach within an agile environment. At the Victorian Department of Education, I contribute my expertise as an Information Technology Specialist, specialising in network administration, cybersecurity, and more.I'm not just about theory; I've brought my ideas to life with projects like the Framework-SDR, a compact FPGA-based Software Defined Radio, and VX0, a distributed and user-controlled network. But that's not all; I've dabbled in crafting high-quality CNC-machined items, alongside developing open source, universal protocols, and much, much more. All together, this has enabled me to deliver innovative solutions that push the envelope of what's possible.
