Responsible for developing and maintaining requirements documents for various radio headunitfeatures including media, gestures, popups. Inputs to the process included competitorbenchmarking and user test feedback, as well as discussions with the development team to ensureclarity.

Responsibilities include continuous requirements analysis and negotiation with customer,managing software suppliers through implementation of features, defect tracking, directingsoftware architecture design of more complex HMI components as needed, code review and mergerequest approval.

Responsible for design and implementation of software at HMI and middleware level. In additionto development, common tasks include participation in daily standup, design reviews, codereviews, and test case reviews.

Sole software engineer on several smaller scale projects including heated/vented seat module,cup-holder, and neck-warmer components using common proprietary framework.

Worked as a contractor and later hired on directly. Responsibilities included HMI and Bluetooth functionality for the Harley-Davidson Boom! Box infotainment system. In addition to implementing the HMI, common tasks included daily scrum meetings, helping to layout system flows, participating in code reviews. Most coding in Flash/Actionscript, but also using LUA and C++.Starting in Jan 2015, moved into a new position as HMI Lead, gaining responsibilities for managing a team of roughly 20 developers in both the US and India on an unannounced infotainment project.

Worked mostly with 3D visual effects such as particle effect smoke, and weather conditions as well as importing models of airports, buildings and culture data into the visual databases. Coding done primarily in C++ using OpenSceneGraph. Also used GLSL shaders.
