As a software engineer and a US Navy veteran, I have over 10 years of experience in operating complex systems, solving critical problems, and learning new technologies. I am passionate about building applications that provide exceptional user experiences and deliver value to clients and stakeholders.I recently completed an 18-week software engineering immersive program with Galvanize Inc, where I gained hands-on experience in full-stack development using JavaScript, React, Next.js, Express, PostgreSQL, SQL, and MongoDB in an agile environment. I worked both independently and collaboratively on various projects, applying best practices and industry standards. Prior to that, I served as a nuclear reactor operator in the US Navy for nine years, where I ensured the safe and efficient operation of the reactor plant onboard the USS Albany submarine.
