Provide advice to the President and the Leadership Team on Major Capital Projects. Lukoil are undergoing a massive capital program with mega projects in Iraq and Uzbekistan. Involved in coaching, training and advising Project Teams.

As Senior Advisor to BCG, I worked with consulting teams and Clients to improve Capital Project Management. Clients included BHP, Xtrata, Woodside Petroleum, all in Australia. Also worked as independent Consultant on Process Safety with Clients including Tesoro, Petrobras, and CRNL.

Transition Executive Jan 2010 -Nov 2010Headed up the team to execute the restructure of the Downstream Business.VP Operational Excellence and Projects 2009 - 2010Oversaw all capital project activity for Global Manufacturing and provided support services for all operational excellence processes including safety, reliability and energy efficiency. Capital Budget was $2B/year and refinery operating budget was $4B/year.VP Global Refining Operations 2006 - 2009Strategic Leader for 4 refineries in US, Canada, and South Africa with over 250,000 b/d capacity and provided safet, reliability and energy efficiency services to the Global Refining system which had 16 refineries worldwide and over 2Mb/d refining capacity.

Seconded by Chevron to head the Kazakhstan Joint Venture.Doubled the size of the company by the execution of a $7B capital expansion to bring production to over 800,000boed.Worked with Governments and JV Partners to refine strategies and ensure strategic objectives were met. Managed all areas of operations to ensure revenues, profits, and return on investments were maximised, risks managed and costs controlled consistent with budgets and business plans. Led the divisional heads of producion, projects and all functions, managed existing customers and developed new customers for the $15B company.

VP for Chevron Oversees Petroleum.Led Home Office activities to provide support for the International u[pstream business units after the Chevron/ Texaco merger. Oversaw Human Resources, Operational Excellence, Project Developement and Execution, Talent Management and Worldwide Drilling support processes.

Managed all operations including Reservoir Engineering, Drilling, Production, Facility Engineering, Plant Operations, Transportation and Logistics, Information Technology and Safety for the 300,000b/d business.Managed capital budget for modification projects and for major capital expansion including concept design for Sour Gas Injection Project.

Seconded by Chevron to join the Management Team of HMDC, a Joint Venture to develop the oil reserves off the east coast of Newfoundland, Canada. Led the team responsible for all Drilling, Well Completion and Well Performance processes, including Information Technology and Supply Chain for this $4B offshore project.Started up and commissioned the masive offshore platform safely, within budget and ahead of schedule. Project produces over 200,000b/d.

Managed Chevron's Santa Barbara Channel upstream assets. These included 9 offshore drilling and production platforms, two onshore processing facilities, an oil terminal and all interconnecting pipelines. Managed 14 JV Partners. Led 800 employees and over 500 contractors. Produced over 150,000b/d.
