As a student at the University of Delaware I received a B.S in Agronomy for the express purpose of becoming a Golf Course Superintendent. I started as a summer intern during my college years at Hillendale Country Club. After graduating from college in 1999, I worked my way up from Second Assistant, to Assistant and finally to Golf Course Superintendent by seeking out jobs at 4 golf courses in Delaware and Maryland. In 2008 I was recruited by Hillendale Country Club as their second Golf Course Superintendent specifically to handle reconstruction of portions of the golf course. In 2009 I became the only Golf Course Superintendent at Hillendale. I spent 17 successful years in the business of creating and maintaining beautiful golf course greens and am proud of my accomplishments in that field. In 2012 I recognized that the effect of the 2008 economic downturn on the industry and the weather would constrict my professional aspirations. Knowing I could always count on myself I took my destiny into my own hands and moved into the real estate business as an investor and full time Real Estate Agent. I have not looked back.
