As a Sr. Demand Planning Manager my time is split between leading a team of demand planners and being the subject matter expert for a new supply chain planning software implementation.My demand planning team focuses on increasing in stock %'s at The Home Depot for the RIDGID power tool brand. In this role I specialize in driving lean inventory, new product introductions, accurate statistical forecasting, efficient product transitions, E&O avoidance, capacity constraint planning, tariff impact mitigation, financial reporting, as well as long term component procurement.In my software implementation role I am the sole business unit contributor and supply chain expert. This means that I am directly responsible for the design and functionality of the new platform. Working alongside consultants we focus on supply chain strategy design, stocking and replenishment strategies, purchase order processes, data mapping and integration, system testing, go live training for the entire organization, and much much more.

In this E2E supply chain planning role I am focused on the DIY and professional power tools market. This role allowed me to work directly with top tier "Big Box" retailers on a multi-national scale. This role requires multilayered forecasting (Point of Sale, shipment demand, as well as supply replenishment planning). My planning SKU portfolio accounts for over $400 Million/year in sales.In addition, I am also apart of several initiatives that focus on data reporting solutions, S&OP, and supply planning/forecasting software vetting.

Sales Inventory & Operations Planning leader for the Progress/Columbia Lighting Brands at Hubbell lighting. (Now GE Current)Since being hired I have been involved with optimization and implementation of a new SIOP process for Hubbell Lighting. All efforts aimed at increasing on time delivery to our valued customers though component and finished goods planning. -In charge of inventory management (stocking strategy & movement) between production facilities and regional distribution centers (Utilizing MRP within SAP)-Creation of production plans for manufacturing facilities in Juarez Mexico, Tijuana Mexico, Bristol PA, and Hudson MO, through sales and operations planning.-Forecast portfolio for product exceeding $250M/year in gross revenue.

Lean Six Sigma consultant for the Trane coil assembly plant in Columbia, SC. (Capstone Consulting Project) Only a handful of GSCOM students were selected to participate in this prestigious program. The project aimed at reducing physical scrap via process improvement and implementation of employee production control systems. -Savings of 147,412 lbs. of material resulting in annual cost savings of ~$180,294-Developed Standard work instructions and layered auditing system for implementation control-First approved project to be implemented within TRANE’s Columbia coil assembly plant and management team.*This project was sponsored and approved by Sonoco Products Co. as well as a Master Black Belt from the University of South Carolina. After taking my formal examination I was awarded with the Lean Six Sigma-Green Belt certification.

Summer Internship aimed at the reduction of inventory in various regional distribution centers.I analyzed mass data from SAP to highlight areas of opportunity for finished goods inventory optimization. This analysis would allow for more efficient and effective inventory replenishment and also help the corporation avoid excess and obsolete inventory. Halfway into my internship I was selected for a permanent demand planner position at Hubbell. I spent the remainder of the summer training for this position and was offered the job before the end of the internship. I accepted but was allowed to go back and finish my last semester of school before starting back full time in December.
