Alex works as a Strategy Director building smarter, more impactful brands at award-winning advertising agency, FCB Chicago.Alex is actively involved within the diversity, equity, inclusion, and education space as a director, mentor, or associate board member for several organizations throughout Illinois and Wisconsin such as the Chicago Sinfonietta, Closing the Achievement Gap Consortium's African American Youth Initiative, and After School Matters.Prior to FCB, Alex spent 6 years in corporate banking as an AVP Portfolio Manager for Associated Bank, a U.S. regional bank serving communities throughout the Midwest and Texas.  Before Associated, Alex gained experience in investment banking at Lakeshore Food Advisors and as an analyst at human capital solutions company, CareerBuilder.com.In addition to his experience in strategy and finance, Alex DJs for various restaurants, bars, brands, non-profit organizations, and other private events, and is passionate about arts programming and has a broad knowledge of event planning, sound curation, and graphic design.Alex graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Corporate Innovation. During his time at Indiana University, Alex was a two-time letterwinner and Academic All-Big Ten selection as a defensive back recording 2 interceptions in Big Ten play and was honored with the Senior Academic Excellence Award for being the member of the team's graduating class with the highest cumulative GPA.
