I am currently a 2L at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing and am looking for an externship starting in August of 2024. While I am still beginning law school, I am planning on graduating in December of 2024. Consequently, I am starting my search now. I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory Constitutional Democracy in May of 2021. In addition to my major, I minored in Economics as well as Political Economy. These concentrations have provided me with the philosophical and financial rationale behind the structure of the law. I am confident that these skills will lend well to the legal profession in the future.Besides for my legal education, I also have a strong interest in leadership. Currently, I am serving on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Beta chapter of Phi Delta Theta. During my time at Michigan State, I took two leadership positions within my fraternity, joined a leadership & volunteer organization, and took a study abroad trip to Spain centered around developing skills in this area. I also successfully assisted with coaching two 'We the People' teams to state championships in 2017 & 2018. As a result of these experiences, I have learned how to properly function within a team to achieve specific goals and lead a group of my peers.
