I am an associate at LALIVE specialising in international arbitration. My work focusses on disputes relating to the Middle East, with experience extending to international arbitration under the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL and DIS rules and ad hoc arbitration.I am a member of several professional associations, including the Arab Regional Forum and the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association, as well as Young ICCA.I was admitted to the Bar in Frankfurt on the Main in 2021 and have lectured on international arbitration at the German University in Cairo. Prior to passing my first and second state examinations in 2015 and 2020, I worked as an assistant to Professor Omaia Elwan. I hold a Ph.D. in arbitration from Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg (summa cum laude), which was funded by the International Max Planck Research School on Successful Dispute Resolution in International Law.
