TMG International AB was founded in 2002 by Jostein Eikeland, based on a small Norwegian foundry. He and CEO Petter Bjørnstad started to build an industrial company producing magnesium steering wheels for the automotive industry. The company managed to develop a healthy supply program. I joined the company in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer:- Implemented IFRS/IAS- Implemented corporate reporting structure in the Swedish holding company and the Norwegian, Polish and US subsidiaries- Managed the listing of the company at the NGM stock exchange in Stockholm- Supported the BoD and CEO in attracting investors and fundingDue to differences in opinion related to the funding process, I left the company after 12 months (the company went bankrupt in May 2008).

IBM Business Consulting Services was formed following the acquisition of PwC Consulting in 2002. I had the title Managing Consultant but primarily worked in sales as a 'bid manager' or 'bid strategist' for IBM's outsourcing services. Contract values would typically be above $500 million and the bid teams could be up to fifty people and comprise commercial, technical and legal experts from multiple regions. IBM had by 2002 about 50% global market share in the high-end outsourcing segment. As bid strategist, I was in the core team securing a $700 million BPO contract with one of the world's largest heavy-duty truck manufacturers.
