The Attorney General is the chief lawyer and law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In addition, the office is an advocate and resource for the people of Massachusetts, protecting consumers, combating fraud and corruption, investigating and prosecuting crime, and protecting the environment, workers, and civil rights.• Approve all submissions to the MMARS financial system and the Labor Cost Management system (LCM).• Monitoring encumbrance, accounts payable, & revenue transactions occur on a timely basis & in compliance.• Liaise with the Executive Office for Administration & Finance (ANF) and the House and Senate Ways and Means committees during the annual budget process.• Development of the annual spending plan submissions to ANF and the legislature.• Prepare reports from the Commonwealth Information Warehouse.• Perform analysis for the Chief Operating Officer and Executive team.• Act as Financial Point of Contact (FPOC) for all Federal Awards and responsible for quarterly reporting submissions.• Annually update the Internal Control and the Budget Manual.• Oversee the AGO's checking account, forfeiture accounts, and monthly bank reconciliations.• Submit RFR's or RFPs to the Commonwealth's procurement system, COMM Buys.• Supervise 4 Budget Division staff: the Revenue Coordinator, Contracts Coordinator, Procurement Coordinator, and Accounts Administrator.
