As a student, colleague, and worker in various environments, I have demonstrated that I will do whatever it takes to help others and myself succeed. I graduated from Trent University with both a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science and a Masters in Instrumental Chemical Analysis. I have a range of experience outside of scientific and laboratory work and can prioritize tasks as part of a team, with good use of time.I am proficient in the use of numerous chemical analytical instrumentation and software such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, Xcaliber & FreeStyle, and so forth. I have also developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safety Plans for routine laboratory analysis on various analytical equipment. I have experience in statistically analyzing data including the use of ANOVA, t-tests, and simple linear regression.Lastly, during my time at Trent University, I was an academic assistant for Analytical Chemistry during my master's degree. I ran biweekly laboratory sessions for a group of second-year undergraduate students to train and assist them through the course and laboratory material. Throughout my undergraduate and master's degrees, I have taken relevant courses such as Spectrophotometry-Spectroscopy, Principles of Mass Spectrometry, Quality Control, and Data Manipulation, and Advanced Analytical Separation.
