As a co-founder leading business development and product growth, I formed the founding team, led the company through 2 product launches, originated our first and largest local gov. clients (e.g., Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Louisville, etc.), established strategic market beach heads, and raised two rounds of equity financing.

OpportunitySpace was the first-ever online marketplace for government land and buildings. Founded while pursuing my Master's, the platform connected government entities holding under-performing real estate from the wake of the foreclosure crisis, to private investors, developers, non-profits and real estate entrepreneurs who would mobilize this inventory. We launched the largest listing site by volume for the public sector and worked with a diverse array of government entities, ranging from City of Chicago, to Massachusetts Department of Transportation and Kansas City Land Bank. Our work was covered in NYT, FastCompany, Wired, Curbed, etc. The platform is now a product of Tolemi.com.

SafeRide is a technology-enabled services venture that addresses a key social determinant of health: mobility. We solve critical logistics for insurance providers and healthcare organizations, ensuring that patients and members get healthier by making it easy to get to and from care. I led operations, designing policy, process, and technology to scale our tech and data solutions combined with services that optimize the delivery of medical transportation to people who need it.

PwC's Corporate Intelligence Practice applies advanced forensic information systems and data analytics to help large organizations identify, prevent, and mitigate business risk. Our group specialized in transforming complex, fragmented data sets into actionable insights for Fortune 50 and large government/multi-lateral institutions. I helped found and formalize the practice group in its first year, recruited key first hires who have been promoted to upper management, and grew the portfolio from 5 to over 50 clients in 18 months. I left for graduate school.

MMC's Kroll division offered clients commercial intelligence and information services to identify and manage risk. The Latin America & Caribbean Practice Group distilled machine readable and offline data sources into insights critical to navigate cross-border transactions/investments, litigation/arbitration, and regulatory compliance. As a Director, I led project management for our largest accounts. I also earned new business from Fortune 500 companies, foreign governments, and multi-lateral institutions.

A boutique consulting firm delivering custom information and analytical products. Diligence advised C-Suite and board directors on risk involving transnational trade, M&A, regulatory compliance, and commercial disputes. I pursued, won, and managed multi-year projects. Examples include a global analysis of human trafficking financing for the U.S. Department of State, a review of terrorism financing accusations against a foreign national by the Office of Foreign Assets Control, and a forensic analysis of stock markets manipulation on behalf of the Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

An international issues and risk management consultancy. I built a data-driven crisis communications dashboard for one of the firm's largest clients, the world's major securities clearing company. The client sought a method to monitor and prioritize negative media coverage in order to protect its brand. The tool was used by Director of Communications, Corporate Counsel, and outside counsel to inform their PR and legal strategies. The firm was acquired and I was recruited to Diligence.
