Ever since my dad bought my Grandpop's landscaping business, Oakdale Nursery, I have been interested in business. I always loved examining all the things that go into completing a job, from the labor, to materials, and transportation and realizing that the amount written on the check does not tell the complete story of how much a business is making. I always found it compelling how a business can do certain things to make more money. Because of this, I decided accounting was something I found intriguing and decided to pursue it. My passion combined with my Lasallian education has led me to not only obtain the necessary hard skills to succeed, such as Excel, analyzing financial statements and data, but La Salle and its faculty have given me a plethora of other skills to succeed as well. I have learned how to create a presentation to convey a message, the value of teamwork, and most importantly to ask question and always be hungry to learn and do more.
