During this role as an Aquatics Supervisor, I remembered what it was once like to have my first job as a lifeguard. This time, the role had flipped and I was able to guide, mentor, and facilitate many new lifeguards (many as their first job). There is something special about working at an aquatics facility. Peoples' lives are being supervised by many young certified individuals, as well as being saved. I was able to provide store information and policies but as well as in-depth description of different products, materials, and functions to many of the customers shopping.

I started Horizoncustoms back in the 6th grade as a hobby. My students and friends loved the idea of having personalized and one-of-one sneakers. I was able to use my abstract 6th grade mind to create such art for others to appreciate. I officially took Horizoncustoms seriously in 2014 and marketed across Killeen, TX and nearby cities. By being able to customize sneakers, meeting new clients and networking, I was able to connect with new people that have led me to contracts and ongoing… Show more I started Horizoncustoms back in the 6th grade as a hobby.
