I am professor of technology and innovation management at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany. I am interested in organizational issues of innovation and project management, especially the management of innovation portfolios, highly innovative projects, the front end of innovation, corporate foresight and university-industry collaboration. I teach graduate courses in innovation and project management, and often collaborate with industry partners (e.g. in business challenges, seminars, and theses). I regularly conduct benchmarking studies in project portfolio management in close collaboration with industry partners. I am an editor at the Project Management Journal and on the editorial board of several journals. I (co-)authored over 100 journal and conference articles and a widely used textbook on innovation management (Hauschildt et al., 2022).
