The company renders services in accounting, market analysis, advertising, and legal services to corporate clients. The principal client is the OSTEC group, one of the leading domestic manufacturers and distributors of cable support systems in Russia, with a distributor network of about 125 companies, from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok. Accomplishments:  Have created the company from scratch as a functional unit that provides all back-office and auxiliary services to the companies of OSTEC and to several other clients. Assembled, organized, and trained a compact team of competent professionals to perform the task.

Day to day duties include: • managing accounting• analyzing financial information from client companies• monitoring actual cash flows on a daily basis and advising on specific payment decisions• creating budgets, cash flow projections, and other pro forma statements• assisting in preparation of and controlling financial reporting• estimating and planning the required long- and short-term financing• assisting clients in obtaining bank loans and in issuing bonds and preferred stock• advising clients on various financial decisions such as buying vs. leasing, outsourcing vs. in-house, etc.• evaluating various projects, including acquisitions and mergers.Accomplishments:  Designed and implemented the reorganization of OSTEC’s overall functional, legal, and financial structure to optimize operations, minimize costs, reduce tax burden, and make the group as a whole more protected against government and non-government racket. Revised and redesigned the accounting and reporting system to include managerial accounting in all its reality.  Designed and implemented actual cost accounting for OSTEC’s two production plants. Organized and controlled the transition to more advanced accounting and managerial software. Rearranged and optimized cash flows and sources of long- and short-term financing for individual companies. Rearranged ownership of all valuable equipment and real estate for maximum protection and for creating the “piggy-bank” effect.

Vagrius-Knigi rendered copy rights and pre-press services (editing, design, technical preparation) for Vagrius Publishers. I directed and controlled the work of the three major divisions of the company and organized and monitored all auxiliary activities. Also, I was a CFO and a legal and corporate security consultant for Vagrius Publishers. My duties were similar to those I now have with regard to the OSTEC group. In addition, they included interaction with the management of the Russian Post and the Ministry of Press.Also, from late 2003 to mid 2004, I was the director and CFO of a TV series production company (ZAO “Kinokompaniya “Victor I Ya”).Also, in 2005—2006, I was part-owner of a Slovakian restaurant (“Janoshik”).

My duties include: gathering and analyzing financial information; creating budgets, cash flow projections, and other pro forma statements; monitoring actual cash flows on a daily basis; assisting in preparation of and controlling financial reporting; evaluating various book publishing projects.
